As the winter break comes to an end, we look back at the 2023 F1 season to see what we can expect from the Formula 1 2024 schedule.

The 2023 season of Formula 1 saw Red Bull dominate, as they made history by winning all but one race. Max Verstappen earned an impressive total of 575 points.

As the much anticipated pre-season testing creeps up on us, we are reminded of where we were a year ago. Nobody could have expected the wild turns we got to witness in what was an action-packed year.

McLaren’s Year

Pre-season testing for the 2024 season starts on the 21st February. Following the final race in Abu Dhabi last year, standouts such as McLaren have given us lots of discussion as we head into 2024.

Unfortunately, McLaren started their 2023 season in Bahrain in much worse shape than they thought. In a shock result, 0 points were scored and rookie driver Oscar Piastri gained a DNF.

“2024 could hold some incredibly exciting battles”

The rest of the season continued in a similar fashion until the Austrian Grand Prix. The team made huge upgrades for the race, with Lando Norris taking home a P4 position.
