It has taken three ceremonies for the marriage between reality TV star, Kourtney Kardashian, and Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker, to be well and truly official. After unofficially tying the knot in Vegas and a ceremony in California, the couple formally got married in Italy last weekend.

The couple got engaged in true romantic style, amid a heart of roses and candles, on Montecito beach, California, in October 2021 after less than a year of dating.

 

Earlier this year, after the Grammy Awards, the besotted pair made a spontaneous trip to Las Vegas where they ventured into the only open chapel – One Love Wedding Chapel – at 2am and got married without a license. In true rock and roll style, the couple were joined by an Elvis Presley impersonator who officiated the ceremony.

Another commitment ceremony took place in Santa Barbara, California, where, according to an insider from PEOPLE, the couple got legally married. This took place at the beginning of May with Kourtney’s grandmother, MJ Campbell, and Travis’ father, Randy Barker, in attendance as witnesses.

“Till death do us part,” Kourtney captioned a carousel of black-and-white images from this ceremony. These images captured an open-air convertible with a ‘just married’ sign hanging off the trunk.

The Italian wedding extravaganza took place on Sunday 22nd May in the grounds of a villa complex in Portofino owned by Dolce & Gabbana. There seemed to be a major collab between the family and Dolce & Gabbana, likely organised by momager, Kris Jenner, as all the family sported their clothing over the wedding weekend. Some would say the event was more like a spring/summer 2022 D&G fashion show than ‘Kravis’’ wedding.

Inspired by 1960s Italian launderette, Kourtney wore a short, corseted, white silk, lace and satin Dolce & Gabbana dress. Kourtney’s statement look was paired with an iconic, hand-embroided veil displaying a replica of Travis’ Virgin Mary head tattoo with the words ‘family’, ‘loyalty’, and ‘respect’ beneath. Not forgetting her pointed stiletto heels. For the after party, the bride changed into a black version of her wedding dress with a shorter veil. Nailing the goth glam look, she was a real-life gothic bride.

The dapper groom’s marital ensemble included a chic black, stubble breasted D&G suit paired with his familiar black sunglasses.

On Dolce & Gabbana’s Instagram, Kourtney said: “Designing my dress with Domenico and Stefano has been a dream come true in every way. From sketching to the final design, we went through every last detail. And being in Milan for my last fitting and watching them work was an experience Travis and I will never forget.”

Kylie Jenner shared a photograph on her Instagram story of the minute pasta dishes served at the wedding, which were but a mere fork-full. Twitter users called these portions “the saddest thing” they’ve ever seen.

The guest list, including famous families and celebrity friends, made for a star-stubbed wedding. Megan Fox & Machine Gun Kelly, who are close friends with Kravis, were in attendance. Andrea Bocelli and his son sang at the intimate ceremony.

After being locked into each other all day, the loved-up couple changed into Mr & Mrs Barker white leather jackets and danced the night away.
